Summer Information and Resources
Dear AMS Families,
As we bring the school year to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust throughout the year. It has been a great year at Auburn Middle School, filled with growth, learning, laughter, challenges, accomplishments, and plenty of memorable middle school moments along the way.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished this year. Whether they are moving on to high school, returning to us in the fall, or joining our school community for the first time next year, we are grateful to be part of their journey. AMS is a special place because of the students, families, and staff who make up this community, and we do not take that for granted.
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, make memories with family and friends, and maybe even sneak in a good book or two. While the hallways will be a little quieter over the next couple of months, we are already looking forward to welcoming our students back for another great year.
Before we officially kick off summer vacation, I wanted to pass along a few opportunities and resources that may be of interest to families. Attached, you'll find information about our Summer Reading Program, Auburn Youth Football and Cheer sign-ups, and a flyer from the Auburn Public Library highlighting summer activities and events. The library has once again partnered with us to support summer reading, and we encourage students to take advantage of all the great opportunities available.
I've also included links for iPad insurance enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, as well as information for students interested in participating in Fall Sports.
Thank you again for a wonderful school year. On behalf of the entire staff at Auburn Middle School, I wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. To our returning students and incoming 6th grade students, we'll see you in the fall. To our 8th graders, congratulations and best wishes as you begin your next adventure.
Once an AMS student, always an AMS student.
Matt
